About 10% of our student population is Hispanic. To meet the needs of our students who are limited in their understanding and use of English, the district hires two bilingual staff members to perform English as a Second Language instruction. They also facilitate the educational transfer of our migrant students as they go between Texas and Wisconsin farms so that their frequent change of school goes as smoothly as possible. Our Migrant Coordinator has received national recognition for her work in this area.
