Top Cats Honored for Academic Excellence
Palmyra-Eagle High School proudly announces the winners of the Top Cat and Academic Letter Awards for scholastic excellence. The criteria for earning these prestigious awards are based on a cumulative point system. An honor point is awarded each semester for GPAs of 3.0-3.49, students with a GPA of 3.5 or higher earn two honor points. Students receiving six honor points are eligible for an academic letter, while students earning 12 points are eligible for a Top Cat Pin. The Class of 2014 pin recipients are Brooke Balk, Nathaniel Behr, Jillian Berglund, Ryan Dahms, Brandon Dane, Lauren Kazinski, Zachary Keihl, Ashley Kommer, Courtney Kommer, Savannah Legan, Colleen Maule, Alexander Rosno, Ashley Sagert and Brady Sturm. Class of 2014 Academic Letter recipients are Tiffany Jeske and Amanda Sagert. Class of 2015 Academic Letter earners include Sioux Collom, Ian Dunn, Samantha Keiser, Hailey Loften, Elizabeth Madsen, Travis Poulson, Edward Symkowski, Bridget Weiberg and Cody Wing. Students were honored in an award ceremony held at the high school on December 11.
