Career Panel

Palmyra-Eagle High School will be hosting a career panel for all high school students on Friday, February 17th. The goal of the event is to share direct, positive information in a panel discussion format with various businesses/careers and the students.  The event aims to provide students with information about businesses, organizations, companies and entrepreneurial opportunities within our community.  By doing so, it is hoped that a pathway for collaboration between the organizations and Palmyra-Eagle High School students will continue in the years to come.  If you are available to participate in this worthwhile event, please contact Gigi Laine at 262-495-7101 x2202.

Anti-Opiate Program

On Wednesday, January 25, 2017, offenders from the Robert E. Ellsworth Correctional Center in Union Grove Wisconsin will be speaking to our high school and middle school student body about the issues and consequences young adults face in regards to drug (specifically opiate) addiction. The non-violent offenders that are coming to our school have a few months until their release and are part of the Earned Release Program. The presentation is powerful and heart-felt as they share their struggles and the journey that took them into the world of addiction and incarceration. Currently, the program has taken on the name “Anti-Opiate Program.” Their stories center on how they were good students who became addicted to heroin by simple mistakes in judgment or from peer pressure. We want to be able to share with students how addiction can affect anyone.
