EES STUDENTS GIVE BACK WITH COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECT BENEFITING ELMBROOK HUMANE SOCIETY In an inspiring display of kindness and teamwork, students at Eagle Elementary recently completed a community service project benefiting the Elmbrook Humane Society. The students worked together to create enrichment toys for animals awaiting adoption, and they also hosted a successful animal drive to gather essential supplies for the shelter. The project was a collaborative effort, designed to not only help the animals but also instill values of empathy, teamwork, and responsibility in the students. As part of the initiative, students created a variety of handmade toys to bring comfort and joy to the shelter animals. These toys, made from donated materials, are designed to keep the animals engaged while they wait for their forever homes. In addition to the toys, the students organized a donation drive that collected over 1,000 essential items for the Elmbrook Humane Society, including food, treats, toys, and cleaning supplies. The outpouring of support from families, teachers, and the local community was overwhelming, underscoring the strong sense of compassion that the school’s students and their families share. The partnership with Elmbrook Humane Society was a meaningful way for the students to connect with their community and learn valuable life lessons in a hands-on way. The shelter staff were deeply appreciative of the donation, and the students were excited to see the impact of their hard work. This successful community service project is just one of many ways Eagle Elementary is fostering a positive, inclusive, and caring environment for its students while also contributing to the well-being of the broader community. GREAT WORK EES STUDENTS AND STAFF!

PANTHER BASKETBALL 1,000 POINT SCORERS It has been a big past few weeks for our Panther basketball teams, as we have had 2 student-athletes reach an amazing milestone of 1,000 POINTS! First, Teagan Koutsky became just the third girl to ever hit the 1,000-point mark in Palmyra-Eagle history against Deerfield on January 10th. Then, Devin Patrick hit the mark last night against Williams Bay, becoming just the 2nd player in PE boys basketball history to do it. He also broke the boys' school rebound record from 1972 against Dodgeland last week. Both players have been amazing athletes at Palmyra-Eagle, and will now forever sit in the record books as two of the greatest in school history! However, the history-making isn't done, as Devin Patrick is inching closer to the all-time points record, which stands at 1,023, set in 1984. Both players have also led their teams to winning records this season, and we can't wait to see how both squads do the rest of the year! FANTASTIC WORK DEVIN AND TEAGAN!
